The level of English spoken by the staff was poor and communication was difficult at times. the pool was not properly cleaned and the lack of ashtrays was frustrating for smokers.

We had a great stay at Hacienda Beach Apartments in Sozopol. the location of the hotel is perfect, just a short drive or taxi ride away from the city. It's also conveniently located within a 5, minute walk to the beach, where you have the option of a public beach or a private beach with umbrellas and sunbeds. the reception team was extremely friendly and helpful, assisting us with everything from calling a taxi to providing lost and found items. We booked the full board package and were impressed with the delicious and varied food options, particularly the traditional Bulgarian cuisine. the buffet staff were also attentive and friendly. the rooms were clean and beautifully furnished, and we appreciated the cozy industrial, style stand in the living room for our belongings. the pool bar had a lovely boho, beach atmosphere and the bartenders were always helpful.

We were lucky enough to get a large apartment at Hacienda Beach Sozopol. The rooms were clean and recently decorated, and the Wi-Fi throughout the complex was consistent and free. There was a great selection of food at every mealtime, and the majority of the staff were friendly and helpful. The beach was also very close, which was convenient for us. I would recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay.
